About

Hococomic is a decorating blog for people who want a home that looks intentional without a designer's budget. We publish practical, step-by-step guides on boho and modern wall decor, bedroom and dining room styling, seasonal decorating, entryway and home office setups, and renter-friendly changes that need no drilling or permanent fixtures.

What we do

Every article answers a question a real reader has asked, in the order the work actually happens: what to measure first, what to buy, what it costs, what to do with the space you already have, and what to skip. We favour ideas that can be finished in a weekend and undone if you rent.

How we research

Guides are built from product catalogues and manufacturer specifications, published dimensions and materials data, showroom and retail photography, and questions readers send in. When a claim depends on a measurement — a clearance, a rug size, a standard fixture height — we check it against the specification rather than repeating it from another blog. Where we have not been able to verify something ourselves, we say so in the article.

Who runs the site

Hococomic is edited by Adi Daeng, who writes and maintains the site and is responsible for what gets published. You can reach us at [email protected]; see the contact page for details, and our editorial policy for how content is produced, reviewed and corrected.

How the site is funded

Hococomic is free to read and funded by display advertising, including Google AdSense. Ads are kept out of the reading path and never influence what we write. If an article ever contains an affiliate link, it is disclosed on the page.
