Editorial Policy

This page sets out how content is produced on Hococomic, who is responsible for it, and how mistakes are fixed. Being open about this is part of how we earn your trust.

Who is responsible

Hococomic is edited by Adi Daeng, who decides what is published and answers for it. Every guide carries a byline and a publication date; pages that have been revised show the date of the latest update.

How a guide is produced

  1. Question first. Topics come from reader questions and from problems people actually hit when decorating: awkward layouts, small rooms, rentals, budgets, awkward measurements.
  2. Research. We work from manufacturer specs and catalogues, published dimensions and materials, retailer data and the practical constraints of a normal home.
  3. Writing. Articles are drafted with AI writing assistance, then edited by a human editor: structure, examples and product specifics are checked, generic filler is removed, and claims that cannot be verified are cut or clearly marked as uncertain.
  4. Review before publishing. Headings, factual numbers, internal links and images are checked, and the page is viewed on mobile. An article is not published until it clears that check.

Disclosure of AI assistance

We use AI tools to speed up drafting and outlining. We do not publish raw AI output: articles are reviewed and edited, we take responsibility for what appears on the site, and we correct mistakes as we find them.

Corrections

If a fact, measurement or recommendation is wrong, email [email protected] with the page address. We check it against the source; confirmed errors are corrected and the page's update date is changed. Substantial corrections are noted in the article.

Advertising and independence

Display advertising, including Google AdSense, pays for the site. Advertisers have no input into editorial content, and advertising is never presented as a recommendation.

Comments and reader submissions

Reader mail may be quoted in an article with personal details removed. Abusive, spam or advertising-only messages are ignored and blocked.
